Princess Kate made it to the headlines after an exciting announcement about her creative project.
The Princess of Wales, who is currently on a family holiday, delighted fans by sharing the inspiration behind a new exhibition which she curated at V&A East Storehouse.
The Makers and Creators exhibition, which came into process after Catherine worked with V&A East Storehouse, includes a Victorian Morris & Co furnishing screen designed by William Morris’s assistant John Henry Dearle and an iconic costume by Oliver Messel.
The chosen gown to display was worn by Diana Vere in the Royal Ballet's 1960 production of The Sleeping Beauty.
Notably, the future Queen's special message alongside the exhibition reads, "Objects can tell a story. A collection of objects can create a narrative, both about our past and as inspiration for the future."
"This display celebrates our past makers and creators and illustrates how much historic objects can influence fashion, design, film, art and creativity today."
"Individual, unique objects can come together to create a collective whole that helps us to explore our social and cultural experiences and the role we play in the wider tapestry of life."
It is important to note that in June, Princess Kate visited the V&A East Storehouse, highlighting "the joy of creative opportunity and craft" provided by the museum.
