Brad Pitt’s silence speaks loudly after Pax’s night at the Chateau

A newly single Brad Pitt was hiding out in the Chateau Marmont in May 2005, concealed behind a tarpaulin that kept out paparazzi in the hotel's private bungalow, where John Belushi famously passed away in the 1980s.

The country was rocked by Pitt's recent split from actress Jennifer Aniston, and Hollywood was in flames over reports of his relationship with co-star Angelina Jolie.

Twenty years later, Pitt and Jolie's adopted son sought refuge inside the Chateau's storied Gothic walls.

Last month, pictures showed 21-year-old Pax, propped up by a few friends, walking out of the hotel with bleary eyes and a silly, dazed smile. After that, they left at 2:30 a.m. for the Deja Vu strip club in the Hollywood Hills.

Pitt's camp did not ignore the alarming scene.

In fact, according to a source close to the Oscar-winning actor who spoke exclusively to the Daily Mail, Pitt has moved on from Pax's drama: "He doesn't care what Pax does or doesn't do. [Pax's] behavior reflects his character."
