Dakota Johnson gets candid about love life after Chris Martin break up

Indie film darling Dakota Johnson is returning to the big screen in her latest romantic comedy movie, Materialist, starring alongside Pedro Pascal and Chris Evans.

As the movie’s release date is around the corner, the actress is indulging with her co-star, promoting the movie on red carpets and in interviews.

Recently, Johnson and co-star Evans appeared on The Today Show, where the host Craig Melvin asked them about their dating life.

While Evan’s reaction was calculated somewhat, Johnson split it out.

“If either of you were to engage with a real-life matchmaker, what would be one non-negotiable for you?” asked Craig.

Evans replied in a calm tone that his partner “must love dogs.”

Meanwhile, Johnson blurted out, “Like, not an a**hole,” earning huge laughter from the audience and people on the set.

However, this answer can be a catch for the audience about her current love life, as there are rumours that she is no longer with her fiancé and Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin.

Previously, an insider revealed to Daily Mail that “Their relationship has been over for a long time, they just haven't been able to figure out to make it official.”

However, on Friday night, at his Las Vegas show, Martin promoted Johnson’s upcoming movie in front of the whole crowd.

“Be kind to yourself. Be kind to each other,” he admonished before adding, “Don't forget to see Materialists! We love you!”

Martin’s statement divided fans into two.

Some say that they are still together, while others argue that you cannot be in a relationship with someone and still support them.
