Blake Lively, who sued Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment, made a new decision which signals a major shift in the ongoing legal warfare.
The 37-year-old actress made several allegations against It Ends With Us’ director after sharing screen with him in the drama.
Blake also alleged in the lawsuit that she went through “emotional distress” due to Justin’s action against her.
In the recent turn of events, the actress is looking forward to take back the claims of being emotionally tormented at the hands of the 41-year-old filmmaker.
This came after Justin’s legal team requested the Gossip Girl alum to grant access to her medical and mental health records.
The Jane the Virgin actors’ attorneys insisted that the documents are essential to back her “emotional distress” claims listed in her 2024 suit.
They revealed that Blake’s counsel did not comply with the conditions and that “Ms. Lively is withdrawing her” allegations.
Apart from the psychological suffering, the Betty Booze owner previously also revealed about “a smear campaign” being led by the filmmaker against her.
She admitted that her and Ryan Reynolds children are also being equally being impacted by the ongoing situation.
In response to the lawsuit, Justin filed a defamation case against the Reynolds couple for $400 million, accusing them of extortion and privacy invasion.
