DJ Akademiks surprised by his inflated net worth

DJ Akademiks is usually busy giving his hot takes on contemporary pop culture events, whether it be the Drake and Kendrick Lamar feud or the many controversies surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The podcaster rubs shoulders with the who’s who of hip-hop personalities and is currently in a partnership with sports betting company Stake.

Naturally, fans and critics often wonder how much money the streamer has, leading many to run a Google search query about his net worth.

According to HotNewHipHop, Akademiks’ estimated net worth in March 2024 was around $7 million.

However, the commentator recently looked it up himself in a recent livestream and was shocked to discover it's coming up to $1.4 billion on Google.

“What?! This is why I keep getting sued!” the 34-year-old shared his surprise before pleading, “Somebody fix this, please.”

Akademiks criticised the artificially generated information, saying, “That's crazy, chat. Yo, the Google A.I. is broken.”

While it is entirely possible that the Jamaican’s wealth has seen a substantial increase since 2024, it is unlikely that it has shot up to $1.4 billion.

Livingston Allen, widely known as DJ Akademiks, is a prominent streamer and YouTuber, whose channel has become a go-to source for all things hip-hop. He is also the host of the podcast Off the Record with DJ Akademiks on Spotify.
