Lily Collins, who starred in Emily in Paris, is “radiant” and “can do it all,” claims her Netflix co-star Lucien Laviscount after she became a mother for the first time through surrogacy.
The 32-year-old actor told MailOnline he is “inspired” by the 36-year-old, who just three months after welcoming daughter Tove with husband Charlie McDowell, returned to work on the set of Emily in Paris season five.
In the comedy drama, he portrays the endearing British banker Alfie, whose romance with American public relations executive Emily is set to rekindle in the upcoming season.
The 32-year-old was scheduled to film a few episodes of the hit series when he first signed on in 2021, but Lily, who plays the show’s title character, took him under her wing.
He is now amazed at how the new mother is managing her work schedule, which includes filming in Rome and caring for her newborn, whom she brought to set last week.
“Honestly, from day one, it was tricky because I came in during the second season and they had all already created this bond and the show did so well,” he stated in an exclusive interview.
The 35-year-old Emily in Paris actress posted a cute family selfie to Instagram on Friday, February 14, featuring her husband Charlie McDowell and their first child, Tove, who was born through surrogacy in January.
