Prince William and Princess Kate are playing a crucial role as the royal couple preparing their firstborn and the second in line to the throne, Prince George, for his future role as King.
Recently, the Prince and Princess of Wales introduced George to veterans and war heroes at a tea party that took place during VE Day festivities.
Now, speaking to Hello! Magazine, royal expert Robert Jobson said, "This is probably the last big event where there will be veterans who served in the Second World War, so it will stick in his memory that he met people who fought, and give him a connection to them."
He recalled George's involvement in King Charles' coronation which was also the major moment of his life.
While praising Kate and William's "good move," Robert said, "...he was meeting and conversing with these veterans," which will be fruitful for his future role.
The royal commentator shared that the Prince and Princess of Wales preparing their son for "public life" at his comfort pace.
"I think they're trying to be careful not to overwhelm him because he's at a delicate age, but it's very important, given that the late Queen is no longer here, to have that continuity going forward," he stated.
