Paris Jackson, the only daughter of popstar Michael Jackson, opened up about having a wedding without her father.
The 27-year-old actress is finally tying knot with her fiancé Justin Long, whom she shared a professional relationship with before getting engaged in December 2024.
Although Paris cannot wait to make it official with her partner, she is disheartened by the absence of Michael on her big day.
According to Life & Style, the American Horror Stories actress “still feels incredibly connected to him, so it’s important to her that he be a big presence for her at the wedding.”
While nothing can fill the void, it is reported by the source that there will be a special tribute to The King of Pop at the ceremony.
The event is planned to have a “lot of ideas" like having "a chair reserved for [Michael] with a photo of him on it, or having his music be a part of the night.”
The Space Between actress revealed to another outlet that the engagement is “terrifying” to her, but at the same time “it’s exciting and it’s thrilling and it’s a big step.”
She gushed about her decision: “I know that I made the right choice.”
The big day is “still in the planning stages” with Paris putting her own spin throughout the wedding, trying to keep her father close to her.
She “will write her own vows, so it’s likely she will mention her dad at some point because she always talks about how much Michael would love Justin.”
The Gingo star started dating Justin back in 2022. However, the couple has largely kept their romance out of the spotlight before officially announcing the engagement news on Instagram in 2024.
