King Charles set to host a key meeting at Buckingham Palace which is said to be a turning point of his reign.

Donald Trump, the US President recently delighted royal fans with major update about his historic state visit to the United Kingdom.

The influential political leader shared that the royal family is setting dates for his UK tour for September.

Trump once again expressed his love and admiration for the monarch and his son Prince William during a conversation with reporters in the Oval Office.

He said, "I was invited by the King and the country – great country. They’re going to do a second, as you know, a second fest. "

The US president continued, "That’s what it is: a fest, and it’s beautiful, and it’s the first time it's ever happened to one person. And the reason is we have two separate terms, and it’s an honour."

While calling King Charles his "friend," Trump added, "I have great respect for King Charles and the family, William, we have really just a great respect for the family. And I think they’re setting a date for September."

About King Charles' significant invitation to Donald Trump:

Earlier this year, the monarch sent a personal letter to Trump via Prime Minister of the UK Keir Starmer, inviting him and his family to Buckingham Palace.
