British singer Charli XCX performed at the first Coachella weekend after enjoying major success with her album brat in 2024.
The singer was spotted partying off the stage following her performance after headliners Green Day at the Indio's Empire Polo Club in California on Saturday.
The 32-year-old took a sly dig at the rock band Green Day, who were headlining the show, by wearing a sash that had “Miss Should Be Headliner” written on it which was not received well by fans.
“Imagine thinking charli xcx is bigger than green day” a fan commented on X.
Another angry fan wrote “disrespecting green day like that should be a CRIME”, calling the singer out for her behaviour.
The Grammy-winner was joined by her fiance, The 1975’s George Daniel, who was on the decks.
The star brought out multiple musical pals with her to perform on stage. The guest performers included Billie Eilish, Lorde and Troye Sivan.
The “xcx” in Charli’s stage name stands for “kiss charli kiss” which was her MSN Messenger display name when she was younger, which she later used as her stage name when she began her music career.
