Jessica Simpson spotted with estranged husband amid divorce rumours

It seems like Jessica Simpson is putting an end to the split rumours.

The singer took to Instagram last month to reveal that she and husband Eric Johnson have been living separately as they try to sort out a “painful situation.”

Prior to that, Simpson also hinted on her social media that something was wrong. In an Instagram post from last November, the 44-year-old posted some sultry pics of herself with a telling caption.

“Interviews in my Nashville music room where I unearthed my singular magic. This comeback is personal, it’s an apology to myself for putting up with everything I did not deserve,” Simpson wrote.

Around the same time, TMZ also reported that something was off in their 10-year-old marriage after its sources revealed that Simpson’s affiliates are seeking divorce attorneys.

However, the I Wanna Love You Forever singer has seemingly put a stop to the divorce rumours after she was recently spotted with her estranged husband.

According to TMZ, the couple hung out in Carlsbad, California on Monday with their children.

The outlet reports that all three children seemed in a cheerful mood but Simpson and Johnson were walking apart and were wearing a sombre expression on their faces.

Simpson married the former NFL tight end in 2014 after dating the 45-year-old for four years.

It is unclear whether the latest outing was Simpson's attempt to dismiss the divorce speculation or just a case of two mature couples meeting to have a good time with their kids.
