Tekashi 6ix9ine apparently had a close encounter with Sean “Diddy” Combs behind bars.
The rapper recently went on DJ Akademiks’ Twitch livestream to claim that he and Diddy “slept right next to each other” while in prison.
6ix9ine said he shared the same jail cell as the disgraced rapper in a Brooklyn prison and that he suggested Diddy to set the record straight since the news media has “crucified” the music mogul.
"I told him like, yo bro, like speak. He thinks his sound is key, when you find keys like that, you just really have to be out there and start, have a narrative,” 6ix9ine said.
He continued, “I shall talk about this, you see how media is crucify Diddy, the media is crucify him, because they know they got the narrative, they got the upper hand.”
6ix9ine was sent to prison for 45 days last November for violating his probation terms. His attorney disclosed to news outlets that the troubled singer was transferred to the same unit as Diddy.
But the attorney also claimed that he does not know whether 6ix9ine and Diddy met behind bars.
6ix9ine walked free the following month, leaving Diddy behind awaiting his trial which is set to begin on May 5.
