Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine's legal troubles continue to escalate.
TMZ reports that 6ix9ine’s Florida mansion was raided by federal and local police officers on Wednesday morning.
The 28-year-old claims that the officers busted into his house around 9 AM and put him in handcuffs for six hours while they searched the property.
6ix9ine alleges that the feds confiscated his guns and drugs but maintains that he is innocent of any wrongdoing.
6ix9ine, real name Daniel Hernandez, told TMZ that the officers ransacked his house while searching for something and also took his DNA sample.
According to the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office, federal agents and narcotics investigators searched 6ix9ine’s mansion during a “probation” check and took items for further analysis.
The authorities did not specifically mention firearms or drugs but stated that the seized items could not be connected to 6ix9ine and further testing was needed.
The Sheriff’s Office told TMZ that due to the absence of probable cause, 6ix9ine was not arrested and he was handcuffed for the safety of the officers.
6ix9ine has a long history of legal offences ranging from domestic violence to sexual assault.
More recently, in October, 6ix9ine was arrested in New York for violating his supervised release by travelling without permission and testing positive for meth. He was held until November 12 and also received a speeding ticket for driving 198 mph in Florida.
