Chilean-American actor Pedro Pascal’s choice enrages his team at the premiere
Pedro Pascal, who enjoyed dinner with his friend Jennifer Aniston, seemingly announced his priority at the premiere of the second part of The Last of Us.
The 49-year-old attended the screening of the sequel at the Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, but missed out on the after party held at The Hollywood Roosevelt.
Although Pedro’s move irritated his colleagues as he was expected at the gathering, his team reasoned that his absence from the event was work-related as he “had to be on set in the morning,” according to Page Six.
The actor told the event organizers that he “wasn’t feeling well and he wanted to leave after the introduction [of the film].”
The excuse did not sit well with the HBO planners of the bash as they reportedly brought in the three-hour dinner with Jennifer Aniston, questioning the priorities of Game of Thrones actor.
The Gladiator 2 star gave the impression that “he could go out with [Aniston], but not come to our party?” as dished by the outlet.
However, Pedro has been putting in a lot of efforts to promote his project by attending press conference, press junkets and then appearing with a wide smile at the red carpet.
The Narcos star also defied his romance rumours with Jennifer, calling the relationship purely platonic.
Despite his action on the big day, the Avengers hero is “excited for everyone to see it.” He pointed out the anticipation that has been building up with every passing day.
He explained how everyone “waited a long time to get back together and shoot the second season and everyone has waited so long for it to be released.”
The actor added: “Everyone cares so deeply about this thing.”
