Dolly Parton’s friends fear for her life

American country legend Dolly Parton had been married to her husband Carl Dean for nearly 59 years until his demise in March 2025. The late husband was 82 when he passed away leaving the singer to mourn.

The couple had a very private married life and mutually agreed to never have children. Dean passed away after being diagnosed with Alzheimer's before his death.

Dean’s death has left the singer feeling “more alone than ever”, according to RadarOnline. Her friends believe she could “die from heartbreak”.

“There is a major concern that having to deal with the aftermath and devastating lose of Carl, who had been by her side since practically day one, is going to make her own health decline.” said the source.

Parton has been taking medicine for high blood pressure and brittle bones, according to the insider.

“She had secretly hoped she would pass before Carl, because she couldn’t imagine her world without him.”
