Popstar Sabrina Carpenter collaborated with country icon Dolly Parton in a new version of her hit song Please Please Please.
Before joining Carpenter on the song, Parton revealed she had set some rules for the popstar in order to collaborate.
“I don’t cuss”, “I don’t make fun of Jesus”, “I don’t talk bad about God” and “I don't say dirty words on camera”, the legendary singer revealed to Knox News.
The rule made Carpenter change the lyrics of her song from “I beg you don’t embarrass me, motherf****r” to “I beg you don’t embarrass me like the others”.
The new version of the song was on Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet album’s deluxe version released on February 14, 2025.
The song was allegedly written by the singer for her ex Barry Keoghan, who she also seemed to shade in music video with Parton.
