Taylor Swift, a mega American pop star, was awarded the win for tour of the century for her Eras Tour by iHeartRadio, although she did not attend the event.
She instead appeared in the form of a video to show her gratitude, and released a taped tour performance of her song Mirrorball on guitar which was from the surprise set of her Glendale, Arizona, Eras Tour kickoff.
Coincidentally, the iHeartRadio Music Awards took place in Los Angeles on the two year anniversary of the pop star’s mega tour.
"This tour was absolutely the most challenging thing I've ever done in my life ... and it really was the most gratifying thing I've ever done," said Swift, "It blows my mind, and I'm never gonna stop being grateful for it."
Nikki Glaser, a comedian, said while introducing the award, "Thank god I saw it that many times because never in my childless, dog-lady life will I ever witness a live performance of that magnitude. We have 75 years left in the century, and they're like, 'Yeah, no one's topping this.'"
Her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department was up for a total of 10 nominations across 9 awards.
