Jennifer Garner’s boyfriend, John Miller, isn’t happy about recent photos of her and ex-husband Ben Affleck getting a little too close—and he’s made his feelings known.
A source exclusively tells Page Six that the CaliBurger CEO has always been understanding of Garner and Affleck’s co-parenting dynamic, but this time, he feels the actor “crossed the line.”
“John knows there’s nothing going on between Jen and Ben, but he doesn’t think those photos are a good look and feels it’s disrespectful to their relationship,” the insider reveals.
According to the source, Miller, 47, wasn’t willing to let the situation slide and made it clear where he stands.
“He gave Jen an ultimatum—he doesn’t want to see anything like that again or he has no choice but to walk away.”
The Gone Girl star, 52, was photographed wrapping his arm around Garner, also 52, as they celebrated their son Samuel’s 13th birthday on March 2.
The exes, who also share daughters Violet, 19, and Seraphina, 16, were enjoying a family day out at Combat Paintball Park in Castaic, California. Affleck was seen pulling Garner in close as she focused on her paintball target—an embrace she appeared to welcome.
The former couple, who were married from 2005 until finalizing their divorce in 2018, were also spotted laughing and chatting closely throughout the event.
This isn’t the first time Miller has had concerns over how much time Garner and Affleck spend together.
As Page Six previously reported, Miller “hasn’t been thrilled” about the increasing closeness between the two.
“John knows Ben and Jen have been leaning on each other more than ever lately and have a really close relationship,” the source explained.
“Their growing bond is getting to be a bit much when Ben spends all the holidays with them like Christmas and Thanksgiving,” the insider added. “John feels like a third wheel.”
