Lady Gaga took a dig at her acting skills in SNL appearance after Joker 2 flopped
American pop-icon Lady Gaga made an appearance on SNL after releasing her seventh studio album Mayhem.
The pop star did multiple outfit changes for her performances, acting cameos and wore a sparkly dress for the monologue.
Gaga put on her best comedic and singing talent to entertain the audience along with a monologue.
“I know you might be thinking I am here to promote my album, Mayhem, but I’m actually here to remind you I’m an amazing actor.”, said the Poker face singer.
“I select films that would showcase my craft as a serious actor, films such as Joker 2.” Gaga commented on the flop sequel of the Oscar-winning Joker (2019).
“Apparently, people thought it was awesome. Joaquin Phoenix and I even got nominated for a Razzie, which is an award for the worst films of the year.” the singer’s self-deprecating humour left the audience in splits.
“Jokes on them, I love winning things.”
