Matthew Perry’s ex-fiance Molly Hurwitz pens heartfelt notes after his death

Matthew Perry’s ex-fiance, Molly Hurwitz penned down her experience of the time she was engaged to the Friends star following his death on Saturday, October 28, at the age of 54.

The 32-year-old Hurwitz took to her Instagram account to react to her former love interest’s death.

She began, “He would love that the world is talking about how talented he was. And he really was very talented.”

She mentioned that as the Friends reunion was approaching, the two used to rewatch the show together.

“Fuck, I was so good!!!…See what I did there???” She recalled the Friends actor saying this as the former couple “rewound and studied scenes,” from the NBC hit sitcom.

She also noted that their “respect and appreciation of humor is something that connected us,” and being with him as he “rediscovered his brilliance was magical.”

In her statement, she also pointed out how Perry had a profound impact on her life and how much pain he caused her, “But, I obviously knew that man in a very different way, too. While I loved him deeper than I could comprehend, he was complicated.”

She added, “He caused pain like I’d never known. No one in my adult life has had a more profound impact on me than Matthew Langford Perry.”

It's worth mentioning that Molly “have tremendous gratitude” for the pain Perry has given to her as she learned alot from their relationship.

The literary manager, who was in a relationship with the The Odd Couple actor from 2012 to 2018, concluded her statement, “Matty, I feel relief that you are at peace. Sincerely, Moll-o-Rama(…fication)”

Perry proposed to Molly in 2020 and after a year they parted their ways in June 2021.
