Gerard Piqué takes significant step in romance with ladylove Clara Chía

Gerard Pique is taking his relationship with his girlfriend Clara Chia Marti to the next level.

According to reports, the Spanish footballer has moved in Chia to his Barcelona home that he shared with ex-girlfriend Shakira.

Pique and Shakira announced their split after 11 years of dating in June last year.

Although none of the stars have divulged the real reason for their breakup, the Columbian singer has heavily alluded to the athlete’s infidelity in her recent slew of singles.

Journalist Pepe del Real told El Programa de Ana Rosa of the major move, revealing: "Shakira lived in that house in 2012 when she arrived in Barcelona. What's more, the images of Shakira leaving the hospital, of her pregnant and arriving at the house were in that house, which is in the town of Cambrils," according to The Sun.

"It's quite secure, it's not next to the sea but it does have a lot of privacy," Pepe continued. "It is an old Piqué house, I imagine that he would have rented it or used it on a weekend."

"It is not a new love nest, it is a house that they are going to use to go live or settle for summer with Clara Chía," she added.

Gerard Pique went public with his romance with Clara, who used to be an employee at the footballer’s company, in January.

Meanwhile, the Hips Don’t Lie singer moved to Miami, Florida with the couple’s two children, Sasha and Milan, in April in hopes to give them a shot at a normal life.
