Angus Cloud dead: Fans heartbroken over Euphoria star's shocking demise

The Internet is laden with shock and anguish following the passing of Angus Cloud.

The Euphoria star died at the age of 25, only a week after his father, according to his family.

In a statement to TMZ, they said: "Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend."

The cause of his death is currently unclear; however, Angus’ family touched on his struggles with mental health in the statement.

"Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence," it read.

Fans of the late actor took to Twitter to mourn his death as they reminisced about his stellar performance in the HBO show.

"it’s genuinely so shocking and it just goes to show even the ppl u know of not that much can affect you in such a huge way, i didn’t massively follow angus cloud in his work but i would say i was a casual fan and enjoyed it when i saw it and i’m in pieces over this rn," a fan wrote.

"this is the most heartbreaking thing ever. a true talent has been lost. angus cloud you will ALWAYS be remembered, this is truly the worst news. our fezco always," another tweeted.

While for some, it brought back some darker memories. "Losing Angus Cloud is bringing back a certain feeling I had when we first heard about Mac Miller passing….," wrote a fan.
