Tori Kelly updates fans on ‘scary’ blood clot hospitalization

Four days after being admitted to the hospital for blood clots, "heartbroken" Tori Kelly is updating her fans on her health.

“As you may have heard, I’m dealing with some unexpected health challenges,” the singer wrote on a picture of a handwritten message via Instagram Thursday.

“It’s been a scary few days but I can feel your prayers & can’t stop thinking about you. I’m feeling stronger now & hopeful but unfortunately, there are still some things to uncover.”

The 30-year-old stated that, despite her aspirations to promote her new EP, "Tori," her "health must come first."

However, she added, “Until I see you again, I still want you to enjoy a project that represents the happy place I’ve been in the last few years. I won’t let this hurdle prevent the music from being yours on Friday!”

In closing, Kelly expressed her gratitude to her fans for their "love and care," which she said left her "truly overwhelmed."

"Deuteronomy 31:8," which is a verse from the Bible, was the picture's caption for the social media post, “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

After passing out while eating lunch with friends on Sunday, Kelly was taken to a hospital in West Hollywood, where blood clots were discovered in her lungs and legs, according to TMZ on Monday.

In light of the Grammy winner's continued "serious condition," her husband André Murillo commented on her health scare on Instagram.

The basketball player, 33, shared lyrics about “fear” from his wife and Justin Bieber’s collaboration, "Where Do I Fit In."
