Ethan Slater’s wife feels ‘abandoned’, says he left 'family' for Ariana Grande

Ethan Slater's wife is feeling betrayed.

Ethan Slater, best known for playing SpongeBob SquarePants on Broadway, is said to have abandoned his wife, Lili Jay, who he supposedly left "devastated" by his Ariana Grande.

Jay's close friends have claimed that she was unaware of the new connection and just found out about it moments before it was made public. In August 2022, the couple welcomed a boy, and according to reports, Jay feels as though Slater has "abandoned" their family.

“Ethan sat Lilly down a few days before the news broke about him and Ariana and said that he wanted a divorce,” a source revealed to Us Weekly. “Lilly never saw it coming!”

The fact that their son won't always have all of their attention is also claimed to be upsetting Jay, who feels that Slater has "completely turned his back on his family."

Even worse, Jay feels "betrayed" by Grande since she spent time with herself and Slater earlier when they were still a married couple.

Another source, however, asserts that Grande and Slater are making an effort to honour their ex-partners as they go forward in their current relationship.

Although the couple's relationship status is unknown, sources claim that it started "several months ago."

The Side to Side singer's close friend and informant claimed that Grande and Slater "were separated when they started dating and the relationship is recent."

The new pair didn't hold back on PDA on the set of their upcoming film Wicked, the source further stated.

“Ariana and Ethan weren’t careful. They’d hold hands on set in between takes. They were sloppy and not hiding it.”
