Tori Kelly being treated for 'serious' blood clots after 'passing out' at dinner

Tori Kelly is fighting for her life at Cedars-Sinai Hospital after she collapsed during a night out with her friends in Los Angeles on Sunday.

According to TMZ, the Grammy-winning singer realized her heart started beating “really passed” before she passed out and remained “out for a while.”

She was shortly rushed to the hospital, where doctors discovered blood clots around her vital organs, deeming the condition “really serious.”

Fans flooded Kelly’s mentions on Twitter to send out their best wishes for her speedy recovery.

One fan wrote: "Praying for Tori Kelly. She seems like one of the sweetest ppl on this earth."

Another added: "she needs to recover soon!!! we can’t lose tori kelly."

" Praying for Tori Kelly cuz that is one of the scariest things to happen to someone :(," a third added.

Real name Victoria Loren Kelly, the Hallelujah singer rose to fame through her YouTube channel, where she used to upload her singing videos as a teenager.

Following the recognition, Kelly also appeared on the ninth season of American Idol in 2010.

The 30-year-old singer didn’t sign with any record label until 2013 and independently released her self-produced debut EP in 2012, Handmade Songs by Tori Kelly.

Since then, Kelly has released four albums and has headlined four tours. She also opened for Sam Smith’s In the Lonely Hour Tour in 2019.

Besides her singing credits, the R&B star also appeared in films and television shows.

Kelly is the recipient of two Grammy Awards for Best Gospel Album and Performance respectively alongside a plethora of nominations and wins.
