Post Malone is going to perform at a pretty hyped location in New York City.
A new, permanent outdoor stage was recently built in Times Square in New York, and tonight the inaugural performance will take place there.
The first performer on the TSX stage will be Post Malone, who will provide a free concert featuring songs from his new album, Austin.
Although Times Square billboards announcing the event went up, he made the announcement in his customary low-key manner on Twitter. The show starts at five o'clock.
There is currently a billboard in Times Square covering the stage that teases Post's performance and promotes his upcoming album, "Austin."
It will be released the following Friday, and according to reports, Post will sing songs from his new album as well as perhaps a few of his earlier hits.
Posty explained the importance of the album’s title in a video to fans, "That is my name," he said.
"It’s been some of the funnest music, some of the most challenging and rewarding music, for me at least. You know, trying to really push myself and really do some cool stuff. I played guitar on every song on the record and it was a really, really fun experience, and I’m super, super excited to share it with you."
Regarding how people will perceive Post, this billboard will truly open up and reveal the secret TSX stage.
