Kyle Jacobs’ death has been confirmed to have been caused by suicide.
The husband of Kellie Pickler was found dead in his room at their Tennessee home on Feb. 17. He was 49.
According to the autopsy reports, Jacobs didn’t possess any drugs in his system at the time of his death, however, he did have a history of "pseudoseizures, gastrointestinal bleeding, elevated liver enzymes, and chronic alcohol use."
Cops were called by Pickler in February after the American Idol alum was unable to find her husband at home after she woke up.
The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department later told E! News that the singer’s assistant called 911 when they couldn’t open a door to an upstairs bedroom while searching for Jacobs.
The couple tied the knot in a private Caribbean wedding in 2011, and went on to document their married life on CMT reality show I Love Kellie Pickler, which ran from 2015 to 2017.
"We just do everything we can just to be real," Jacobs told Yahoo's BUILD series in 2017. "We love laughing through life. We love to do that, and that's what the show is. Our show is love and laughter."
Since his death, Pickler has not publicly addressed the tragedy.
