Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck skipped 2023 Oscars, here's why

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, after making their much-awaited debut at the Grammy's this year, decided to miss out on the Oscars due to some reasons. 

Mr. and Mrs. Affleck were somehow not present at the 12th March award show that took place at Los Angeles Dolby theatre. 

Regardless of bagging any nominations, their presence on the red carpet at Hollywood events is always expected but this time they did not grace the Oscars which left their fans rather disappointed. 

Despite the fact she was not there at the ceremony in person, JLO did show that she was there in spirit. 

On her Instagram she shared a slideshow of her favourite Oscar looks over the years, including a dreamy teal gown she wore during her and Affleck's joint appearance at the 75th Academy Awards in 2003. 

Its therefore unclear why the two opted to stay home this time around but it is reported that they have both been busy with different projects. 

The On The Floor singer is preparing for the release of her album This Is Me Now which is inspired by her love for Affleck while the latter is getting ready the launch of his movie Air, a biographical sports drama. 

At the same time the two were also busy looking for a new home for their blended family.
