Has Morgan Freeman converted to Islam? Here's what we know

Morgan Freeman delivered a touching speech on diversity and urged the world to embrace different religious values during the opening of the Fifa Worldcup 2022 in Qatar.

Since then, there have been several news circulating on the internet, announcing that the 85-year-old actor has accepted Islam.

He was also joined by 20-year-old YouTuber Ghanim Al Muftah, who recited the Quran in front of the actor and he was seen pleasingly moved by the verses.

However, Reuters has reported that a rep for Freeman, Fred Specktor, has refuted such claims and clarified that he [Morgan] “has not converted to Islam.”
