Age is truly just a number for Gwyneth Paltrow.

The Iron Man actress didn’t hold back as she marked her 50th birthday by stripping naked and covering her body with shiny gold paint.

The Oscar-winning actress posted the picture of herself posing to the camera on her official Instagram account, as well as on her official Goop website.

For her Instagram, she kept it simple and just wrote a good ol’ “50” in the caption. However, she posted a heartwarming excerpt alongside the photo on her lifestyle blog.

“I feel so good turning 50, and this is about expressing that sense of energy and optimism that I’m experiencing,” she wrote. “It’s more about the female gaze and just a sense of fun.”

“I think aging is actually a beautiful thing. We just need to open our perceptions,” Gwyneth shared.
