John Cena breaks Guinness World Record
John sets the record for most Make-A-Wish Foundation wishes granted
John Cena has broken the Guinness World Record for the most Make-A-Wish Foundation wishes granted.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, John Cena is the most sought-after Make-A-Wish celebrity.
The actor-turned wrestler has granted 650 wishes that no other celebrity has come close to granting.
The Peacemaker actor was honoured for granting 500 wishes in 2015. Cena opened up about the foundation and said, "I just drop everything, If I can offer a fantastic experience, I’ll be first in line to do my part."
Cena talked about the reason he continues to grant children's wishes, he said, "I want them to have an experience that will stay with them to forever. I don’t ever want the children or their families to be treated in a way where they feel as if they’re up against anything at all."
Since beginning his career as a professional wrestler in 2002, Cena began granting wishes through the Make-A-Wish foundation. After becoming a 16-time world champion, children's requests for him to grant their wishes, skyrocketed.
