Billie Eilish asks pressing ‘Titanic’ question from James Cameron

Billie Eilish and James Cameron have recently collaborated for their new 3D concert movie, Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour.

The movie, which focuses on Billie’s live performances, is already running in theatres, released by Paramount Pictures.

During their promotional stint, the singer-songwriter was seen asking James the hard-hitting questions related to his career and movies.

In a clip posted by paramount pictures on social media, Billie finally asked the legendary director the burning question that had been teasing the audience for more than two decades.

“Why did Jake have to die Jim,” questioned the 24-year-old as she referred to the iconic movie, Titanic released in 1997.

To this, James replied, “I have wasted probably a year of my life dealing with the subject.”

Billie chimed in and said, “People are mad like why could not they go I’ll go for five minutes and then we will switch.”

James quipped, “You got the right answer.”

However, the movie-maker added, “The reason is Jake loved Rose. Keeping her alive was the most important thing in his mind and anything that stood in the way of that was not a chance he is willing to take.”
