Amanda Holden has spoken out against critics who label her daughter Lexi a "nepo baby," arguing that having famous parents may open doors but cannot guarantee lasting success in the modelling industry.

The Britain's Got Talent judge addressed the criticism as 20-year-old Lexi continues to expand her modelling portfolio with a striking new beach-themed photoshoot.

In the images, the model poses with a large tropical leaf covering her upper body, paired with leopard-print bikini bottoms and minimal accessories.

Responding to accusations that her daughter's career has benefited solely from her celebrity status, Holden said she dislikes the term "nepo baby" and believes it unfairly dismisses the effort required to build a career.

According to Holden, while having well-known parents may help someone secure an initial opportunity, it does not ensure long-term employment or success.

She added that those entering the entertainment industry must ultimately rely on their own ability to sustain their careers, as per Daily Mail.

Lexi signed with Storm Models at 18 and has since walked at London Fashion Week, steadily building her career in fashion. Holden also praised her daughter for remaining grounded despite growing up in the public eye.
