Kelly Clarkson has given fans an honest look at her life after The Kelly Clarkson Show and her reason for moving on.
The Since U Been Gone hitmaker addressed workplace rules during her Vegas performance and shared her personal experience with HR sessions.
“They say dumb s---,” she said Friday during her Caesars Palace Vegas show before laughing.
"Like, you can't comment if someone's lost weight, and I'm like, bitch! You better write a memo. You better write a memo about it, a song about it. I just think that’s so dumb. It makes people feel good when you say, 'Oh, you look really good.'"
"And then people are like, 'No, because that means you thought they did look really bad.'"
The Grammy winner said she often questioned HR training sessions and admitted her approach was not always popular among colleagues.
"Actually, everyone hated doing HR meetings with me, because I am a nerd," she told. "I would literally be like, ‘I’m sorry, so your example is…?'"
Earlier this year, Clarkson announced the end of The Kelly Clarkson Show after seven seasons and stated that spending time with her children was now her priority.
Notably, her Las Vegas residency will continue through August 15.
