Madonna has finally repaired her fractured relationship with her daughter, Lourde Leon.
A source told Radar Online that the queen of pop music opened up that her new album helped her heal the rift between her and her daughter.
Earlier, Lourde called her mother a “control freak,” as she wanted to become financially independent after high school.
Another insider shared that Madonna’s love life also sparked strain between mother and daughter.
“It was never about Madonna being provocative," a source noted.
They pointed out, “The challenge was the revolving door of much younger boyfriends. Some weren't much older than Lourdes and tried to step into family roles. That created real tension.”
However, an insider added, “They've both grown. Today, their bond is stronger than ever.”
Separately, the old pop sensation collaborated on a song for her new album, Confessions II to repair her relationship with her daughter.
“For instance, the song I wrote with my daughter, Lola [Lourdes]. She approached me about writing a song together as a way to heal our relationship,” she told Interview Magazine.
