Josh Duhamel shares awkward realisation about 21-year age gap with wife

Josh Duhamel is opening up about the moment he fully realised the age gap between himself and wife Audra Mari.

During an appearance on The HoneyDew With Ryan Sickler podcast the 53-year-old actor reflected on his 21-year age difference with Mari who is 32 years old revealing she is the same age as his youngest sister Cassidy.

Recalling Cassidy's birth Duhamel said he was 21 and playing football at Minot State University when he noticed his mother in the stands.

"I remember looking up at the stands and I saw my mom and had this bump. And I'm like, 'What the— Is my mom pregnant?' I'm 21 years old... and she's having another baby," he said.

"There's a picture of me holding Cassidy as a 21-year-old young man with this little bitty infant," Duhamel shared.

Looking at the photo alongside his wife, he joked, "You know, you and Cassidy are exactly the same age... I am officially too old for you."

He added, "They're literally like months apart in age. I never looked at it like that until I saw that photo. I was like, 'Wait a second.'"

Duhamel and the former Miss North Dakota USA married in September 2022 after dating for around three years.

The couple share two children son Shepherd and daughter Rocca who was born in May 2026. Duhamel is also father to 12-year-old Axl whom he shares with ex-wife Fergie.
