Storage Wars star Darrell Sheets reportedly left note exposing cyberbullying before death

New details have emerged in the death of Storage Wars star Darrell Sheets with a newly released police incident report indicating that the reality TV personality left a note referencing cyberbullying before he died.

The 67-year-old Sheets was found dead at his Arizona home on April 22. Authorities later confirmed that the longtime Storage Wars cast member died by suicide.

According to an incident report released this week by the Lake Havasu City Police Department investigators discovered a handwritten note near the scene in which Sheets appeared to reference online harassment writing that he “could not take anymore the Facebook bulling.”

Police had previously said they were looking into allegations of cyberbullying connected to the case.

According to the report officers also interviewed the person accused of harassing Sheets online. The individual denied any involvement in Sheets’ death and declined to answer further questions the report states.

The report also sheds light on Sheets’ final days with his girlfriend telling police that he had been under significant emotional strain.

She said he had been upset by messages involving family conflict and accusations made against her and had also been struggling with stress linked to what she described as a man “slandering his name.”

She additionally told investigators that Sheets had recently experienced family tension that left him feeling devastated.

Sheets rose to fame as one of the original stars of A&E’s Storage Wars which debuted in 2010 and followed bidders competing to buy abandoned storage units in hopes of uncovering valuable finds.

Nicknamed “The Gambler” Sheets became known on the show for his bold auction risks and larger-than-life personality.

Following his death several of his former Storage Wars co-stars paid tribute and spoke out about the emotional toll of online harassment.
