Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s fairytale wedding was packed with tears, laughter and heartfelt kisses as loved ones watched the superstar couple finally say “I do”.
Fresh details have continued to emerge from inside the fiercely private ceremony held at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Friday night, with the singer’s aunt, Robin Gentry, offering a rare glimpse into the emotional celebration.
The couple exchanged vows in front of more than 1,000 family members and famous friends before giant pink screens around the venue lit up with the message: “JUST T MARRIED!”
The Grammy-winner’s longtime publicist, Tree Paine, later confirmed the marriage.
Speaking after the celebrations, Robin revealed the heartfelt mood inside the ceremony, saying: “They cried, and they laughed, and they danced, and they hugged, and they kissed.”
She also hinted guests enjoyed “lots” of food and a wedding cake that proved to be a huge hit, although she refused to reveal any more secrets from the reception.
Further touching details were shared by Good Morning America host George Stephanopoulos, who attended the ceremony.
He revealed the newlyweds each carried “little books” containing their personal vows, describing the promises they exchanged as “real, vulnerable, serious and silly, deeply loving”.
His co-host Robin Roberts echoed the sentiment, calling the ceremony “really intimate” and praising the couple for writing their own vows.
The ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler, while her brother Austin Swift served as Man of Honour and Travis’ brother Jason Kelce was Best Man.
Despite the star-studded guest list, attendees reportedly respected the couple’s privacy by avoiding social media throughout the evening.
Celebrities including Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper and Hugh Grant joined the celebrations, which continued well into the early hours as the newlyweds began the next chapter of their love story in unforgettable style.
