Jude Bellingham has dropped his long-term wish and has also surprised his fans with the unexpected news.
The English athlete recently earned victory as he played in England's final group-stage match against Panama at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Soon after the match, the 23-year-old celebrated the win on James Corden’s World Cup After Hours show on FOX.
Sitting with the show host, he took the opportunity to address his wish, "People always ask me, ‘What’s the thing I’d want to do out of football?’ – and I never really give it that much thought, but when I have I always come to ‘I’d love to be in a film’."
The athlete confessed that he truly wants to star as the next James Bond, "I’d love to be James Bond."
Jude then went on to confirm if they are still looking for the character and expressed how much he loves the famous fictional person.
"I swear, I’d love to be in the back of a James Bond film. (Maybe) James Bond himself, but you’ve got to crawl before you can walk" Jude concluded.
Notably, he also recreated a few popular scenes to prove that he can take on the role and will do his best.
For the unversed, it has not been decided who will be starring in the next anticipated movie of the franchise, but rumours have it that Euphoria star, Jacob Elordi might be the next pick.
