Selena Gomez was expected to be the maid of honour to the bride-to-be, Taylor Swift, on her wedding day, July 3.

Although the Grammy winner stole the spotlight at the 33-year-old singer and Benny Blanco’s nuptial, it appears unlikely Selena would be able to make it on time.

As the People You Know crooner is currently in London for the shoot of the new season of Only Murders in the Building, fans believe she might not be present at her best friend’s big day.

The Calm Down crooner recently updated her Instagram fans about attending Bad Bunny’s concert in London before falling sick.

The online community question about the possibility of Taylor choosing her childhood friend Abigail Anderson Berard, over the musician.

However, several pop-culture fans find this choice questionable and are demanding Selena to be the maid of honour for the Lover crooner.

The two share a strong bond together, celebrating each other’s accomplishments and milestones together.

Their bond remains unshakable and stood the test of times; however, the Bad Blood songmaker and her other friend Blake Lively reportedly grew distant.
