Kylie Jenner has been hit with a shocking new lawsuit after a former chef claimed the gruelling demands of working for her household led to a devastating miscarriage.
The unnamed woman, who filed the case in Los Angeles Superior Court, alleges she was just three months pregnant when she began working for Jenner in November 2024.
Despite supervisors reportedly knowing she had a high-risk pregnancy, she claims she was expected to carry out physically demanding tasks, including transporting heavy food items uphill across the street.
According to court papers obtained by People magazine, the chef suffered a medical emergency just weeks into the job, allegedly choking and gasping for air before needing help from security.
She further claims she was reprimanded for upsetting the Kylie Cosmetics founder.
The lawsuit also centres on a birthday party for one of the reality star's children on February 01, 2025, where the chef alleges she worked long hours without proper support.
She says she became so overwhelmed she broke down in tears in a bathroom before later suffering severe exhaustion.
The following morning, after experiencing heavy bleeding, she drove herself to hospital, where she was allegedly told she had lost her baby.
The chef claims she was later criticised over the condition of the kitchen after the event and, despite another hospitalisation following haemorrhaging, was eventually removed from her assignment at Jenner's household.
The lawsuit accuses Jenner's management company, Tri Star, of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, pregnancy-related mistreatment and wage violations.
The chef is seeking damages, lost earnings and compensation for severe emotional distress.
Her lawyer said she hopes speaking out will encourage other workers facing similar treatment to know they have legal protections.
Neither Jenner nor Tri Star has publicly responded to the allegations, which remain unproven.
