Serena Williams is set to make a headline-grabbing appearance at this year’s Fanatics Fest, joining a roster of global sports icons in a competitive fan-focused spectacle in New York City.
The 23-time Grand Slam champion will participate in the Fanatics Games, where top athletes, entertainers, and public figures go head-to-head with fans in a series of skill-based challenges across multiple sports.
The event will be held from July 16 to July 19, 2026, at the Jacob Javits Center and is expected to draw some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment.
According to People, Williams will compete alongside tennis rival Novak Djokovic and NFL legend Tom Brady, as well as other high-profile athletes, in challenges ranging from basketball shooting and NFL-style kicking drills to hockey and football-inspired competitions.
Moreover, organizers say the format is designed to blur the line between fans and professionals, offering a rare interactive sporting experience.
The event features more than 50 elite participants facing off against 50 fans, with major prizes on the line, including cash awards worth millions, luxury vehicles, and collectible sports memorabilia.
As per the outlet, Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin has described the gathering as one of the most ambitious fan events in sports culture.
Williams’ participation marks another post-retirement competitive appearance, following her brief return to tennis-related activity in recent years.
Furthermore, Djokovic and Brady’s involvement adds further star power, with the trio representing three of the most dominant figures in modern sports history.
