Merry Berry's daughter Belles opens up about life after heartbreak

Dame Merry Berry's daughter, Belles, has opened up about the harsh time in her life and how she is dealing with it.

The famous chef broke up from her husband and got separated last year after spending 24 years together with each other.

Recalling this year as the "hardest year" of her life, the 51-year-old opened up about how things are going now.

She stated to HELLO!, "When you get married, you think [you’ll be] together forever, I really never thought this would happen."

In the interview, she added, "The grief can hit you like a tsunami, but I’ve learnt to ride the storm,"

The renowned cook also stated that she thinks she has learned how to deal with such a situation, and it has contributed to her growth.

Belles gushed, "There have been times when I’ve broken down, but I know I will come up again… it is just part of the grieving process. I’m getting stronger every day, ready to rebuild my life and learning to trust that the next chapter is going to be phenomenal."

It is to be noted that Belles shares three children with her former partner, 21-year-old Louis,18-year-old Hobie, and 15-year-old Atalanta.
