Timothée Chalamet recently celebrated his favourite basketball team's win but faced a mishap.

The American-French actor is a huge fan of the particular sport, and it shows that he didn't miss a single match of the team.

Notably, amid all the celebrations of the win, the Wonka star was also seen in a new viral video, enjoying with the athletes.

One of the video from the "wholesome" interaction is currently going viral in which the 30-year-old suffered from an eye injury.

The clip featured two players standing with Timothée, as one of them opened the champagne bottle and dumped it on the actor.

Soon after, he was unable to open his eyes and although he was smiling through the pain, his eyes were burning.

When the person recording the video asked him if he was good, he confessed, "I am not an athlete, I don't deserve it,"

He also reassured everyone that "now, I am good...Usually I have stunt double to do that."

It is to be noted that the Knicks won the championship against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday, June 13.
