Tom Holland recently gushed over his The Impossible co-star Naomi Watts during his latest appearance on Good Hang podcast.
The English actor said that the she’s first person to teach him how to do a movie and even took him under her wings at the time.
Tom comment came while he was promoting his upcoming flicks, which will release in July.
Interestingly, Naomi was asked about Tom at a For Your Consideration event for FX's Love Story: John F. Kennedy Jr. & Carolyn Bessette on June 2.
While speaking to Decider, the actress, who played the role of Tom character’s mom in The Impossible movie, spoke about the Spider-Man actor.
“I definitely watched Tom and I was so grateful. It’s a movie that requires so much raw emotion. And we were right there at the place that it actually happened,” said the 57-year-old as she referred to the 2004 Tsunami shown in the movie.
Naomi recalled she and Tom “were surrounded by crew members who were affected by that real thing that took place and you really felt the realness of it.”
The Ring actress pointed out that the Uncharted actor was 14-year-old at the time and he came with his entire family.
“They were really great, grounded people. I connected with them from day one, and I just remember he was from first rehearsal on the go,” mentioned Naomi.
The actress further said that they “did strange little exercises and Tom was very open, very available”.
Naomi added that she knew from the get that he was going to be a star.
