'Obsession' star Inde Navarrete reveals she was 'terrified' to get into character

Inde Navarrete opened up about her working on the hit movie, Obsession and how it felt.

The American actress has worked in many hit movies but rose to fame after her incredible work in the recent thriller film.

Now, opening up about the experience, she has recalled how her character, Nikki Freeman, made her feel scared too.

In a exclusive interview with Entertainment Weekly, she acknowledged what the viewers went through and revealed her character "freaked" her out as well.

When asked how she practiced getting into the character, the 13 Reasons Why actress stated, "I was absolutely terrified to do it, I did not want to do it,"

She added as she explained herself, "I'll be totally honest and give you an exclusive here, Curry told me to go home and go practice in the mirror...I was terrified to do it."

The 25-year-old said that on her director's order, she was initially interested in practicing for the character and showed enthusiasm, but in reality she was very scared.

The Superman & Lois star continued, "I did not want to do it because it would just freak me out... It's just a freaky thing to do,"

Inde also disclosed that she would also sometimes lie to the director and not let him know that she couldn't do it because she was scared he would get disappointed in her.

It is to be noted that the movie has topped all the charts for this year's scariest movie.
