'Loose Women' stars clash in heated on-air debate over Keir Starmer

A heated exchange broke out on ITV’s Loose Women after panelists Gloria Hunniford and Kaye Adams clashed during a live discussion about British politics and Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

The tense moment unfolded during Friday’s episode as the panel debated growing criticism surrounding Starmer’s leadership and calls from some within the Labour Party for him to step down. 

According to Daily Mail, Gloria Hunniford argued that many voters had become increasingly frustrated with Labour since the party came into power.

As Hunniford attempted to explain her position, Adams repeatedly interrupted, prompting the veteran broadcaster to respond sharply, “Just let me finish my bit.”

Moreover, the disagreement quickly escalated, with both presenters speaking over one another while defending their political viewpoints.

Adams reportedly insisted that governments should only be removed through elections, while Hunniford argued that public sentiment toward the party had shifted significantly. 

As per the outlet, the situation became more awkward when Adams directly asked Hunniford whether she had voted Labour, a question the 86-year-old firmly refused to answer.

At one point, Hunniford raised her hand and told her co-host, “Kaye, just give me one second for goodness sake to speak,” drawing attention from viewers online.

Furthermore, fellow panelist Judi Love attempted to lighten the mood by joking that the exchange felt “like Parliament.”

The dramatic segment quickly sparked reactions across social media, with viewers divided over which presenter handled the debate better.
