Bella Hadid, who is a renowned model, recently gushed sweet words to her mother, Yolanda, on Mother’s Day.

The fashionista went on to praise her mother on social media and revealed how lucky she is to have her as a mother, causing fans to raise eyebrows.

The netizens questioned her choice of words as she and her sister, Gigi, have revealed in the past that their mom makes them starve so that they can become models.

The showstopper penned, “happy mamas day to the woman who built the foundation in all of us..the rock & heartbeat of our family.”

She added, “Who taught us what love really looks like… through loyalty, strength, compassion, discipline, intuition, and unconditional love.”

The fans came in as they chimed in the comment section, "So making your daughter have an eating disorder is also love nowadays??"

Some also pointed out the infamous moment from the reality show, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, where Gigi told Yolanda that she felt “weak” and has only eaten half an almond.
