Florence Pugh has recently slammed gender bias and body shaming in Hollywood.
The English actress, who made her acting debut in the 2014 movie The Falling, has urged female actors to challenge strict body shaming in the entertainment industry.
While speaking to The Mirror, Florence said that it’s “a different animal for women than it’s for men” and how women bodies are constantly criticised in the industry.
“Hollywood is a different animal for women than it is for men,” said the 30-year-old.
The Black Widow actress stated, “It's a man, they are strong-willed if it's a woman they're a diva.”
“How often do you read online comments about men's body shapes? For women it's a daily occurrence,” added Florence.
Earlier this month, the Little Women actress made Instagram official with her boyfriend Finn Cole.
Meanwhile, Florence reportedly attended a swanky Bulgari event in Milan this week where she was joined by the Peaky Blinders actor.
The couple were first linked in September 2024 after they were seen leaving an after-party together, but now publicly confirmed their relationship.
