David Beckham mocked for emotional breakdown after Brooklyn estrangement

David Beckham has recently been mocked for his emotional break down at his youngest son Cruz’s show amid his ongoing estrangement from his son Brooklyn.

According to Radar Online, an insider close to the Beckham family revealed that the former football star was “constantly weeping” during his son performance with his band The Breakers in East London last week.

“David has been overwhelmed by everything that has happened with Brooklyn. He is extremely sensitive at the moment and finds himself breaking down very easily – even small things can trigger an emotional response,” explained a source.

Another insider pointed out that the former footballer is “carrying a lot of sadness, and there is a sense he has not been able to process the distance between him and Brooklyn”.

It is pertinent to note that David’s emotional breakdown led to “wicked” taunts from some people, calling him nickname like “Goldenbawls”, which is a play on his long-standing footballing moniker Goldenballs.

The source told the outlet, “There is a feeling that the situation has left David vulnerable, and that has unfortunately opened the door to unkind commentary.”

However, for David, the insider added that it is not about image but it’s about the family and “that is where the pain lies”.

Meanwhile, an industry tipster opened up that it has been difficult for both David and Victoria to come to terms with Brooklyn’s behaviour.

“But David in particular has taken it very hard,” said an insider.
